FAT TUESDAY AT METROPOLE – Restaurant

Fat Tuesday reopened on Collins Avenue in South Beach in January 2024, taking a storefront inside the Metropole, a 1940 Art Deco hotel in the historic district. The brand traces to New Orleans in 1984 and built its name on frozen drinks, chief among them the 190 Octane Daiquiri anchoring the menu today. Health inspection records describe an active cook line and a pizza-stocked reach-in cooler, real food evidence beside the drinks. The space leans into Art Deco style, with a neon-lit terrazzo terrace extending the lounge onto Collins Avenue. It draws the nightlife crowd more than a dinner audience.
