FLAMINGO ADVENTURES – Restaurant

Flamingo Restaurant sits inside the lodge at the southern tip of Everglades National Park, the only sit-down kitchen for miles of mangrove and Florida Bay. Breakfast starts with smoothies and burritos before the kitchen turns to conch chowder, a mahi-mahi sandwich, and burgers for lunch and dinner. The signature move is the fresh catch, grilled, fried, or blackened, served with a choice of two sides for anyone who spent the morning fishing the backcountry. Seating spreads inside and onto a balcony over the water, and weekend crowds routinely push waits toward an hour. The bar runs daily, lunch through dinner.
