FLANIGAN'S #19 – Restaurant
North University Drive, running to half past midnight on weeknights and one on weekends. Hollywood's branch of the family-run South Florida group founded in 1959 keeps the house look: nautical photographs, a full bar, the whole menu available wherever you sit. Ribs come chargrilled in tangy-sweet sauce, half or full rack, or paired with wings or fried shrimp. Elsewhere there are Chicken Stickers, potato skins, the Texas Burger under bleu cheese and Tumbleweed Onions, shrimp scampi over dirty rice, and a Banzai Brownie big enough to share. Happy hour runs daily from eleven until seven, and the doors open year-round.
