GRANGE HALL – Restaurant

A barn on Ponce de Leon Boulevard, open from seven in the morning to ten at night, with separate menus for breakfast, lunch, dinner and the bar - Grange Hall is built as a gathering place first and a restaurant second, and it pulls off both. The cooking is American with more ambition than the room lets on: shareable plates, steaks, seafood, blackened Florida grouper. Indoor and outdoor seating, service that stays attentive without hovering. Rural Hernando County has few rooms quite like it, which is rather the point.
