Graze Smokehouse (Five Towns) – Restaurant

Sixteen hours in the smoker is the house rule at Graze Smokehouse, a kosher barbecue counter on Central Avenue in Cedarhurst, walls hung with pictures of smokers and meat, seating tight and the line moving fast. Brisket is the headline, with pastrami, burnt ends, wings, burgers and house-made beef jerky behind it, and the Bull Rider stacks brisket, pastrami and smoked turkey into a single sandwich. Southern technique, a Tex-Mex accent, strictly kosher throughout. Diners return to the same two notes, meat that stays tender and staff who keep things friendly under pressure. Closed Saturdays, as you would expect.
