Belvedere Road's longest-running welcome mat. H.G. Roosters has served West Palm Beach's LGBTQ+ community since 1984 — long enough that the city designated the building a historic site in 2021 — and it still works as bar, kitchen and dance floor at once. The food is not an afterthought: a signature smash burger, a rotating board of daily specials, dollar wings on Fridays, three-dollar tacos on Tuesdays. Nights bring entertainment, a long bar and a crowd that treats the room as a second living room. By its own account, Florida's longest-operating LGBTQ+ bar. Four decades in, still holding the corner.
