Kansas City instincts, brought to a Parsons Avenue smokehouse. The veteran owners who took over H&H Family Bay BBQ in 2024 grew up around competition barbecue, and the menu reads like it: chopped beef brisket, slow-smoked and piled into a basket with two sides and a slab of garlic bread; a full rack of dry-rubbed baby backs cut into individual bones. Sauces are the fun part — Alabama white, Carolina gold and more, handcrafted rather than poured from a jug. Homestyle sides, counter-casual room, closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Straightforward smoke, no theatre.
