HABANA CON B – Restaurant
Calle Ocho, a colonial-styled dining room, and a recreated stretch of the Malecon along one wall. Habana Con B opened on Little Havana's main artery as a family project and cooks like one, running from morning cafe through dinner with live music some nights. The menu is Cuban home cooking done properly: tostones rellenos, sandwich cubano, ropa vieja, churrasco, enchilada de pescado, and flan cubano to finish. Guests come away talking about the owner's hospitality more than anything else, and about portions that arrive like you are family. Havana staged, and cooked, with care.
