A Peter Jacobsen and Jim Hardy course south of Naples, with a clubhouse that takes the dining half seriously — a main dining room indoors and the Hammock Bay Grill outside by the pool, turning out casual American food between rounds. A tiki bar sits poolside and an English-style pub pours beers from further afield. Marriott runs the club now, and tables can be booked rather than merely inherited. Golf first, then a long lunch in the shade.
