NE 5th Avenue, doors open Wednesday through Sunday: Heritage is Fort Lauderdale's answer to a proper New York Italian. Squash blossoms and black mushroom arancini to open, agrodolce calamari, an Italian chopped salad with real bite, then pasta that earns the room — mafaldine bolognese, bucatini with white clam, spicy penne alla vodka, gnocchi marsala. The pizzas carry borough names, The Bronx and The Brooklyn among them. It picked up a Michelin Bib Gourmand for 2026, which is a fair reading of what the kitchen is doing. Save room for the tiramisu brownie.
