High Point Creamery (Tennyson St.) – Restaurant
High Point's Tennyson Street shop opened in 2018, bringing the creamery's small-batch approach to a busier stretch of Berkeley sidewalk. Roughly eighteen flavours run at once and they move with the seasons - salted caramel, brown sugar cinnamon and butter pecan for the traditionalists, fresh basil with blackberry, chocolate orange marshmallow or lemon with raspberry swirl for everyone else. The creamery is the work of Erika Thomas and Chad Stutz, who started in Hilltop before heading northwest. Good before dinner, better after. Ask what is new before you commit.
