Hollywood Falafel – Restaurant

A small kosher falafel counter on Burbank Boulevard in Valley Village, certified pareve under the Rabbinical Council of California and shut from Friday afternoon through the weekend. Falafel is the whole point here: fried small and light, heavily spiced, crisp outside and tender within, tucked into pita that customers single out for how soft it is. Vegan and gluten-free eaters are unusually well served. Mostly a takeout operation, mostly a lunchtime one. Order at the counter and eat it warm.
