HUEY MAGOOS – Restaurant

This is home turf: Huey Magoo's opened its first restaurant in Orlando in 2004, out near UCF, and built a chain out of one cut of meat. Tenderloin only, hand-breaded and fried to order or marinated 24 hours and grilled, served as three-, five- and seven-piece meals, Tender Bites, wraps, sandwiches and salads. The handcrafted Magoo's sauce is the house calling card; Spicy Magoo's and ranch are made in-house too. Fresh-cut chips, coleslaw, southern sweet tea. Twenty years on, what customers keep noting is consistency - the tenders taste the same on the fifth visit as the first.
