HUNGRY HOWIE'S 213 – Restaurant

Jacksonville has a handful of Hungry Howie's, and all of them trade on the crust. Butter, butter cheese, asiago, ranch, cajun, sesame, garlic herb and Italian herb are free on any pizza — the chain has done this since the mid-1980s and it still separates them. Order an Original Round however you want it, or one of the specialty pies, then add oven-baked subs, Howie Bread, wings, tenders or a chef's salad. What customers say most often is that it is fast and reasonably priced. Familiar, and better where it counts.
