The Hungry Howie's serving Miami Gardens from Northwest 183rd Street trades on one thing above all: the crust. Eight flavors — butter, butter cheese, Asiago, ranch, Cajun, sesame, garlic herb, Italian herb — brushed around the rim of an original round or thin-crust pizza, an idea the chain has run with since 1985. Also on the menu: subs baked calzone-style in the pizza oven, wings both bone-in and boneless, chicken tenders, Howie Bread with sauce for dipping, salads, cookies and brookies.
