The Brooksville store on South Broad Street is Hungry Howie's in its natural form: a counter, a phone, an oven, and a crust you get to season. Eight free flavors, butter, butter cheese, Asiago, Cajun, garlic herb, onion, ranch and sesame, go onto original round, deep dish, thin or gluten-free bases. Alongside the pizza run calzone-style oven-baked subs, Howie Bread, wings and tenders, fresh salads, baked pasta and cookies. Delivery covers the surrounding neighbourhoods. It is weeknight food that knows exactly what it is, and it does not oversell itself.
