Old Winter Garden Road, open from eight in the morning to eleven at night - Island Vibez serves Jamaican home cooking on Orlando's west side for most of the waking day. Oxtail is the headliner, with brown stew chicken, curry chicken, curry goat, fried chicken and mac and cheese filling out the counter, plus a breakfast service before the lunch rush. Reviewers keep circling the same words: tender, authentic, properly seasoned. Catering runs out of the same kitchen. Simple, generous, reliably good.
