A South Florida food-truck operation that grew into a full-service dining room, Island Vybz Fusion Grill sits on South Orange Blossom Trail near Clear Lake, in a corner that was previously a neighbourhood market and deli. The kitchen works in Caribbean fusion, taking island staples and widening the influences, and runs dine-in, takeout and catering side by side. Owner Yvonne Guthrie-Lewis brought years of truck and restaurant management to the room. Unshowy, close to downtown, and built on a following it already had.
