JAJAJA MEXICANA WYNWOOD – Restaurant

Wynwood's outpost of a plant-based Mexican brand born on New York's Lower East Side in 2017 - the first outside the metro area, and the one where the bar finally got room to stretch. More than a hundred agave spirits sit behind it, alongside sotol, Mexican sake and lagers from local microbreweries. The food is entirely vegan and makes no fuss about it: tacos, enchiladas, burritos, quesadillas, nachos and bowls, built on plant proteins and bright, fresh toppings. Diners who arrive sceptical leave talking about the tacos. A vegan menu that never reads as a compromise.
