JIMMIE THE BEEF GUY – Restaurant
The Cleveland Avenue shop opened in 2024, the second for Jimmie the Beef Guy, and the proposition did not change: authentic Chicago sandwiches in southwest Florida. Thinly sliced seasoned roast beef comes down from Chicago and goes onto a toasted French roll with sweet or hot peppers. Around it sit the Italian Stallions - fried beef and cheese wraps - along with Maxwell Polish, sausage, breaded steak and fries, and Michelle's meatball sandwich on Mondays. Transplanted Midwesterners are the loudest voices, and the verdict is that it holds up. Short menu, taken seriously.
