Two connected rooms on King Street in Riverside, open from seven in the morning until three the next, every day of the year. The beer program is the legend — a tap wall in the dozens, a bottle list running into the hundreds, and a vintage cellar behind it — but the kitchen is no afterthought: poutine, pierogies pan-seared with Cajun seasoning, scotch eggs, Lincoln Log lumpia, a Monte Cristo, smash burgers and a Belgian beef carbonnade that nods straight back to the taps. Steampunk fittings, generous plates, not an ounce of pretension. Late-night Jacksonville has one obvious answer.
