KINGS CREEK HOLE IN THE WALL – Restaurant

Tucked into the corner of a Kings Creek strip mall on SW 81st Drive, with picnic tables out front and a drive-through window, this is a neighbourhood secret that stopped being secret a while ago. The griddle turns out char-grilled burgers and wings, and the fries are the thing people warn each other about. Beyond that: blackened mahi on a brioche sub with Swiss, grilled onions and peppers, pulled-pork barbecue sliders, and an unlimited taco night on Tuesdays. No frills, old-school, bar stools and a few tables outside. Diners rate it on the grill work, and the grill work holds up.
