Kolah Farangi – Restaurant
One of the odder and more useful propositions on the Pico-Robertson strip: a glatt kosher kitchen that cooks Persian and Chinese side by side. Charcoal kabobs come over saffron rice in the Persian half of the menu; the other half runs to wok plates like orange chicken. The room closes early on Friday and stays shut Saturday, which tells you exactly who it cooks for. Two cuisines, one kitchen, no compromise on either.
