Cuban pizza served under a guano-thatched roof out on Southwest 177th Avenue, umbrella tables scattered across the patio and a counter running ten to ten, seven days. La Campana builds the house pies - Martha's Garden, the Hawaiian - in the soft, generous Cuban style, and backs them with a frita, pan con bistec and tamal for anyone who came for the rest of the repertoire. What regulars keep saying is that it tastes the way pizza tastes in Cuba. That is the entire point.
