Pink-and-white and impossible to miss on US 17/92 north of Haines City, this Michoacana trades in cold things done properly. Paletas are made in-house from fresh fruit, hand-dipped in chocolate and finished with whatever toppings you point at; the ice cream runs from dulce de leche to Oreo, scooped into cups, cake or waffle cones, or a chocolate-dipped waffle. Bubble waffles come crowned with a scoop. Beyond that: churros, sundaes, banana splits, milkshakes and aguas frescas pressed from real produce. Open late into the evening, and the queue on a hot night is its own recommendation.
