LA TERRAZZA RISTORANTE – Restaurant

A small Ybor City dining room on Seventh Avenue that has been quietly doing Northern Italian since 1996, under chef-owner Andrea Fenu and pitched squarely at Emilia-Romagna. Only a handful of tables, which is much of the appeal. The kitchen opens with fresh mozzarella and tomatoes under olive oil, oregano and basil, then moves through spinach-and-ricotta ravioli in tomato cream, lobster and crab ravioli with shrimp and asparagus, linguine marinara loaded with shrimp, scallops, clams and mussels, and fettuccine under a house meat sauce. Diners keep calling it the real thing. Book ahead - there are not many seats.
