LAGO DEL SOL BISTRO – Restaurant

A lakeside bistro and lounge set on the Costa del Sol golf course in Doral, where the food leans Latin and the evening leans late. Queso frito comes under a guava-and-rum sauce; croquetas de bacalao, shrimp ceviche and el jibarito — tostones piled with ropa vieja — cover the small plates. Grilled churrasco with chimichurri and the Espanolito burger with manchego, bacon and sweet plantains anchor the mains, and homemade tres leches finishes. Weekends bring karaoke and DJs until two in the morning. Diners come for the mojitos and stay for the water.
