LANNA THAI AND SUSHI – Restaurant

An ornately dressed Thai room on Park Street North in St Petersburg that doubles as a sushi bar — carved wood and gold inside, a menu far deeper than the address suggests. The kitchen is known for its curries and its pad thai, and keeps sections most neighbourhood Thai places skip: duck, frog legs, a full vegetarian corner. On the other side of the menu, nigiri, sashimi and a long list of specialty rolls, raw and cooked. Lunch on weekdays, dinner seven nights. Regulars come for the heat and stay for the room.
