Le Dor Cafe is Linda's tribute to her mother, Leana Dorvilus, and the family recipes come with the building. The West Lantana Road room is small, bright and hung with art, and it runs a breakfast-and-lunch day: the Croissant Nest breakfast sandwich, a chicken salad croissant, bagels, fresh fruit, and a cinnamon honey latte that regulars order before they sit down. Pastries and croissants are made daily. What people mention most is the welcome — the owner learns names and remembers them. A genuinely warm neighbourhood cafe, and a very good one.
