Lemoni Café Inc. is the operating name behind the Buena Vista café on NE 2nd Avenue that's been serving breakfast and lunch since 2008. Co-founded by an Argentine-Italian manager and a French-Moroccan executive chef, the kitchen threads Mediterranean, Moroccan, French, and Argentinian influences through a single short menu — hummus and curry alongside paninis and composed salads, with a genuine vegan program built in rather than bolted on. The room is small and homestyle rather than polished, open into early evening most days and closing earlier on Sundays. A neighborhood staple that wears its cross-cultural kitchen lightly.
