Getting there is half the appeal: you cut through the Four Ambassadors, a residential tower that has not changed much in decades, out the back past the jacuzzis, and Biscayne Bay opens up with a bar sitting in front of it. Bay View Bar is the cheapest good view in Brickell - strong drinks, a long daily happy hour, and a short list of fries, burgers, croquetas and coconut shrimp built to be eaten with your feet pointed at the water. The food plays a supporting role. The bay does the rest.
