LURE – Restaurant
A 125-year-old building on the 600 block of Central Avenue, reworked in 2015 into something part tiki bar, part tapas kitchen, part billiards room. The menu roams: sushi surfboards to share, King of Wings, Joey's meatballs, tacos on Tuesdays. Weekend brunch brings biscuits and gravy and caramelised apple French toast. Pau Hana happy hour runs weekday afternoons and the dog-friendly patio fills fast. Downtown St. Pete has plenty of bars. Few of them let you order a curry, a cocktail and a game of pool in one go.
