The West Hollywood outpost of the New York bakery that made banana pudding a cult object. It is a roomy, unhurried space on West Third at Orlando with seating inside and out, a few minutes' walk from The Grove, and it fills up with neighbourhood regulars as readily as with visitors working through a list. Cupcakes under thick swirls of buttercream, layer cakes built for celebrations, and the pudding that started it all. Doors open at eight, seven days a week, and stay open into the evening. Sweet, simple, unchanged in the ways that matter.
