MAIN STREET BY THE BREAKERS – Restaurant

Part boutique, part cafe, sitting on Royal Poinciana Way in the open-air Via Flagler plaza that The Breakers built a few blocks from the resort. The coffee counter opens at half six and runs to nine at night: barista-made espresso drinks, donuts fried fresh, craft ice cream, baked goods made in house, and sandwiches and snacks to carry out to the plaza. Around it sits the largest gift shop on the island, all bold blue graphics and designer oddments. Locals treat it as a morning ritual and visitors as a discovery. Coffee, a warm donut, and somewhere to sit.
