The dining room at Brooksville Country Club looks straight out over the course, and its menu says OPEN TO THE PUBLIC in capitals at the bottom - no membership required. Executive Chef Annery runs an American kitchen with Italian leanings: firecracker shrimp in a house sauce, fried cheese ravioli and loaded beef nachos to start, then the Quarry burger, a New York Reuben, beer-battered haddock and chips, chicken parmesan, a sesame-teriyaki rice bowl and Annery's lasagna. Lunch runs daily; Friday and Saturday stretch to eight. Taco Tuesdays and pasta nights fill the midweek. Comfortable, unstuffy, genuinely good value.
