Start with the cookie. maman's nutty chocolate chip made Oprah's Favorite Things back in 2017, and it explains a good deal about the place — a New York French-American café and bakery, founded by Elisa Marshall and Benjamin Sormonte, grown into roughly eleven South Florida rooms without losing the antique-provincial, toile-and-florals look that made it. Mornings are coffee and pastry; midday brings salads, sandwiches and wraps; the seasonal menu keeps rotating through croissants, cookies and matcha drinks. Catering runs seven days a week.
