Telescoping glass doors slide back over Biscayne Bay and the room fills with light off the water - sea-glass sculpture, crystal chandeliers, copper trim, a piano player warming up. Mastro's Ocean Club on South Biscayne Boulevard is the seafood-forward half of the Mastro's steakhouse family, so a table can go bone-in ribeye and A5 wagyu in one direction and Chilean sea bass, sauteed scallops or red king crab and truffle gnocchi in the other. The lobster mashed potatoes are the side people talk each other into. Live music nightly. Book ahead; it fills.
