Set on US Highway 27 at 40220 in Davenport, this Ale House catches the traffic between Haines City and the theme parks and turns it into a full room most nights. Zingers are the anchor — hand-breaded buttermilk tenders with nineteen sauces — but the kitchen also turns out slow-roasted baby back ribs, a Philly cheesesteak on a hoagie, Cajun shrimp pasta and burgers served sizzling in skillet queso. The bar runs past thirty-five taps. What diners say most often is that nobody leaves hungry and the bill stays reasonable. Big, busy and easy to like.
