MISE EN PLACE – Restaurant
Forty years on and Mise en Place has moved without losing the thread - out of Hyde Park and into a 130-seat room on East 8th Avenue in Ybor City, reopened in January 2026. Chef Marty Blitz still cooks modern American food rooted in classical French technique, and roughly a third of the menu turns over with the seasons: molasses pecan-crusted rack of lamb, grilled Faroe Island salmon, seared duck breast, sous vide venison, fried green tomato salad. Tampa's fine-dining benchmark, relocated and unbowed.
