Miznon Kosher – Restaurant
The kosher arm of Eyal Shani's Miznon, inside the Bell Works complex in Holmdel. The format is the same one the brand exported from Tel Aviv: pita, filled fast and generously, at a counter rather than a table. Whole roasted baby cauliflower anchors the vegetable side; pitas take in chicken schnitzel with tahini and matbucha, lamb kebab with grilled tomato and onion, a falafel burger, rotisserie chicken with za'atar. Sides run to run-over potato and caramelised sweet potato with sour cream. Kosher certification, none of the compromise that phrase sometimes implies.
