MIZUMI BUFFET AND SUSHI – Restaurant

An all-you-can-eat Japanese and Chinese buffet on NE 163rd Street, built around stations rather than a single steam table: a main kitchen, a hibachi grill, a seafood station, a sushi counter and a salad and dessert bar. The sushi side is unusually broad for a buffet, with nigiri from salmon to escolar and wahoo, ceviches and seafood salads, and a long roster of rolls, dragon, rainbow, plantain, crunchy salmon and more. Cocktail shrimp, mussels, miso and hot-and-sour keep the rest honest. Come hungry. That is the entire proposition.
