MOJO GRILLE – Restaurant

A Cuban kitchen on NW 27th Avenue that opens at seven, does a brisk breakfast before the lunch rush, and keeps a drive-thru for people who cannot stop. Family recipes drive it: pan con bistec that arrives bigger than expected, the Cubano, loaded bowls of marinated chicken or shredded pork with garlic mojo, rice, beans and plantains alongside. Fresh lemonade and a blackberry mora to drink. Diners come back for the portions and the prices as much as the flavour. Closed Sundays. Straightforward Cuban food, fast and done right.
