South Dixie Highway, an eight-in-the-morning start, and a taco menu deep enough to argue over. Morelia's Taqueria builds its taquiza familiar around a choice of eight fillings — carnitas, carne asada, suadero, barbacoa, chorizo, birria de res, al pastor, pollo — and sells them by the dozen for a table. The alambre piles grilled steak with chorizo, bacon, peppers and melted cheese. Fish tacos and quesadillas con birria have their own following, and the house lemonade gets ordered as often as the food. Clean room, quick counter, prices that have not caught up with the rest of Miami-Dade.
