Inside Aventura Mall, Motek does the whole Eastern Mediterranean day in one bright yellow room. Breakfast bleeds into brunch, brunch into a long mezze lunch: tzatziki, matbucha, spicy Greek feta and taramasalata to spread on oven-fired laffa, falafel with pickled onion, zucchini latkes, crispy artichoke with garlic-cilantro aioli. Kebabs of chicken, beef kufta and Turkish lamb come off the grill; the hanger steak and the 25 oz dry-aged ribeye push it steakhouse-ward after dark. Reviewers keep mentioning how well it handles a crowd. The kitchen uses Glatt kosher meat, though the restaurant isn't certified kosher.
