MOTEK MIAMI BEACH – Restaurant

The Miami Beach branch of Motek sits at 2701 Collins Avenue, doing the same trick as its Miami siblings: Mediterranean cooking served all day, seed-oil-free, with pita baked to order. Shakshuka comes to the table in its skillet with a great disc of challah alongside. There is hummus ground fine and smooth, crisp cauliflower, chopped salads, chicken schnitzel folded into a sandwich, and arayes, pita packed with spiced beef and griddled hard. The influences run Israeli, Moroccan, Lebanese and Yemeni. Guests come for breakfast and stay past lunch. That is the whole idea.
