Right on East Atlantic Avenue, Mussel Beach does what the name promises and then some: buckets of mussels - Provencal, Posillipo, mariniere - land on tables all afternoon and well into the night. Around them sit blue point oysters, charred octopus with bean sauce, lightly battered calamari, prosciutto-wrapped shrimp, shrimp Francese and a seafood linguine people order twice. Diners keep returning for the portions, the attentive floor staff and a room that handles a big table without fuss. Save room for key lime pie - it sells out. Delray Beach seafood, cooked without ceremony and served like it matters.
