NATHAN'S – Restaurant

A century-old hot dog name doing in Orlando exactly what it has always done. The all-beef frankfurter is the whole proposition, natural snap intact, served straight or buried under chili and cheese, with crinkle-cut fries alongside. Past that there is a signature burger, wings, beer-battered onion rings and a cheesesteak for anyone who wants more than a dog. Nathan Handwerker started the business at Coney Island in 1916 and the recipe has not needed rescuing since. Quick counter food, priced for a stop rather than an evening. Salty, unfussy, and very hard to get wrong.
