NEW CHINA – Restaurant

A family-run Chinese counter on South Missouri Avenue in Clearwater, open late six days a week and geared almost entirely to takeout and delivery. General Tso's chicken and lo mein are the dishes regulars name first, with steamed shrimp and broccoli, house special mei fun, sweet and sour shrimp, honey chicken and bourbon chicken filling out a long menu. Portions are generous and the prices low. Most people report the same thing meal after meal: hot, fresh, consistent. Closed Sundays; the kitchen runs to eleven on Friday and Saturday nights.
