NIU Kitchen is a narrow room in downtown Miami where Barcelona-born chef Deme Lomas cooks Catalan food that leans personal rather than traditional. Everything is built to share: branzino tartare under a cold white-garlic soup, roasted artichokes, octopus, oysters, cured meats and cheese, and rice dishes that reward ordering for the table.
