NOULA MIAMI – Restaurant

A Haitian kitchen in the far south of Miami-Dade, Noula Prime opens at eleven and runs late most nights, which is exactly when people want fried goat. The board is short and confident: tassot cabrit, griot, poisson frit either fried or in sauce, boulet, fried turkey, all plated with rice and beans, sweet plantains or tostones and a jar of pikliz on the side. Haitian-style mac and cheese, made with epis, is the sleeper order. Portions are built for sharing. Warm service, no fuss, real food.
